On The Origin Of A Genetic Constant - 7

DNA and RNA are Made of Atoms

In this series we are contemplating the discovery of a constant in DNA and RNA genomes.

At this time the contemplation excludes mRNA, tRNA, rRNA, partial genomes, and the like, taking a focus on full genomes such as the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The following "GenBank Flat Files Genome Analysis Report" contains summations of RNA genomes and a link to the National Library of Medicine, National Center for Biotechnology Information (a.k.a. "GenBank") on any tables.

The purpose is to show the ~(32,33,26,7) genetic constant in RNA as was done for DNA in an earlier post of this series (On The Origin Of A Genetic Constant - 5).

The report written by Dredd Blog software proceeds through an SQL database of RNA genomes from 1 -> 46,589, reporting on them each 5,000 searches.

Each section has a "totals count" which is expressed in sections of 5,000.

That totals count refers to the number of genomes that had a variation from the ~(32,33,26,7)  constant.

There is less that 1.0%, 2.0% and so forth. 

Each less than section is also greater-than the section below it (less than 2.0% also means greater than 1.0% and so forth):

variation count @ <1.0% = 372 (100.0000%)
variation count @ <2.0% = 0 (0.0000%)
variation count @ <3.0% = 0 (0.0000%)
variation count @ <4.0% = 0 (0.0000%)
variation count @ >=4.0% = 0 (0.0000%)

The search that produces the results is based on 'scientific' or 'taxonomic' names in an RNA genome database of such names (here).

When a name from a 'scientific', 'taxonomic' database of names is located in the main RNA genome database, the information is presented in an HTML table (see Table 1 below), or if not located no table is generated.

A link to the GenBank database is provided so readers can look up the genome as it appears in the National Library of Medicine, National Center for Biotechnology Information database by simply 'clicking the mouse' on it at the 'URL Link:' in each table.

The number of tables extracted in each section varies because the 'scientific/taxonomic' names are dispersed within the databases because they originate in different countries, and they have been extracted out of various sources ... from humans, to tigers, to lions, to bats, to minks, and other species.

One main purpose of the exercise is to show the 'sameness' in the ~(32,33,26,7) genetic constant in RNA in the sense of not much variation (less that 1% variation) in atom content.

The final column in each table has a value in the 'Percent' column noted as 'variation' percent (notice that all of them are less than 1%).

This is very interesting since the constant is found in different locations around the world and in sources that are quite different from one another.
